Choosing a Home Care Service
The questions we hear most often before a free assessment.
How do I choose the right type of home care service?
Start with a free assessment. We talk through your loved one's daily routine, mobility, medical needs, and the support already in place, then recommend the right combination. Most clients end up with a blend of personal care, dementia or palliative support, and respite for the family caregiver. The plan is always written down and reviewed with you.
Can different home care services be combined?
Yes. Most of our clients combine services. Daily personal care plus weekly respite. Live-in support with periodic in-home nursing visits. Combining services keeps things simple: one care coordinator, one plan, and a small consistent caregiver team.
Can a care plan change over time?
Yes. Care plans are designed to flex as your loved one's needs change. More hours during a recovery. Fewer hours when things stabilize. A switch from personal care to palliative care if a diagnosis changes. Plan reviews are included at no extra charge.
Do you offer free assessments for home care services?
Yes. The initial in-home assessment is free and carries no obligation. We come to the home, meet the family, review the situation, and provide a transparent care plan with pricing. You decide if and when to start.
Are your caregivers trained for specialized conditions like dementia or palliative care?
Yes. Many of our caregivers hold additional certifications in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, palliative and end-of-life care, and post-surgical recovery. We match clients with caregivers whose training fits their specific needs.
